Green Morning Power Juice

A daily wellness ritual that is anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, and energizing.

Ingredients (makes ~96 oz):

  • 1 bag of organic power greens (spinach, kale, or a blend)

  • 1 bunch of celery

  • 1 large cucumber

  • 1 pineapple

  • 3 green apples

  • 1 large handful of fresh mint

  • 4-5 pieces of fresh turmeric (I add in some black pepper as well)

  • 1 thumb-size piece fresh ginger (or larger)

  • 3 lemons

Instructions:

  1. Wash all produce thoroughly.

  2. Chop large ingredients into manageable chunks.

  3. Run everything through a juicer (or blend with a bit of water and strain).

  4. Serve cold and enjoy fresh each morning.

Best consumed on an empty stomach for optimal gut absorption. I use all organic fruits and vegetables. This makes enough for Joe and I to use for 3 days. Please adjust measurements to fit your household.
