Green Morning Power Juice
A daily wellness ritual that is anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, and energizing.
Ingredients (makes ~96 oz):
1 bag of organic power greens (spinach, kale, or a blend)
1 bunch of celery
1 large cucumber
1 pineapple
3 green apples
1 large handful of fresh mint
4-5 pieces of fresh turmeric (I add in some black pepper as well)
1 thumb-size piece fresh ginger (or larger)
3 lemons
Instructions:
Wash all produce thoroughly.
Chop large ingredients into manageable chunks.
Run everything through a juicer (or blend with a bit of water and strain).
Serve cold and enjoy fresh each morning.
Best consumed on an empty stomach for optimal gut absorption. I use all organic fruits and vegetables. This makes enough for Joe and I to use for 3 days. Please adjust measurements to fit your household.
